the wc are sick but the require alot of rebuilds which isn't the best if your not racing but i loved my teams less maint more reliable and i dont know to much about the 40's or what riding you're doing

well .... its a newer fork, and you didnt have t spend any money to get it haha. I dont really have a preference between the two, i was just thinking from my point of view. In my opinion i dont really think that the wc is necessary .... its alot more maintenance, and the ride quality is very very similar .... if not the same. I just dont think it is worth the extra effort. I've always gone with oil/coil forks.... and its never let me down in that department. Just my opinion, and if you have any more questions at all ... just let me know.
